How to install crDroid v6.2 based on Android 10.0 Q on your Redmi Note 8 (ginkgo) or Redmi Note 8T (willow)? Simply follow all these steps below and you are good to go.
For the sake of easiness and compactness of this article, we’ll call both devices as RN8/8T so hence we can avoid unnecessary repetitiveness.
What’s the difference between both phones? The regular RN8 does not have NFC while the 8T has. Everything else is the same including hardware specifications.
What is crDroid?
It is a cool Android custom ROM based on AOSP and LineageOS. It sports the looks and feels of Google Pixel user interface (UI) and user experience (UX).
The main style of crDroid is similar to Pixel Experience. However, there are more features planted within crDroid system.
On top of that, while the PE ROM sports built-in GApps, the crDroid frees you to choose which GApps package you want. It doesn’t come with any pre-built Google Apps.
Pixel phone’s UI styles, sleekness, lightweight and fast system performance are the main selling points of crDroid. Give it a try and get amazed!

We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
That’s the official disclaimer by the ROM maintainer.
As from us, we simply ask you to create backups of your files and data.
The whole process is basically safe. However, bad things sometimes happen.
