Redmi Note 7 Pro: MIUI 10 v10.3.7.0 Global Stable ROM (India) - Fastboot & Recovery 1

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro is the best variant so far of Redmi Note families. It sports the best hardware specifications but is available at very affordable price. Initially, the device was released in India. Around March 2019, the phone stared to be available in its home country China.

Both variants boast the same specification. The only difference is its availability in term of RAM and internal storage. In China, the phone that has codename Violet is available only in 6GB/128GB variant.

Redmi Note 7 Pro has better advantages in terms of specification compared to its younger brother Redmi Note 7 codename Lavender. It has better chipset, CPUs, GPU, and camera sensor.

Unfortunately, the device is not available globally just yet. Mi Fans outside India and China have to import it from various online retailers.

Those who imported it from China receives the device running MIUI 10 China Stable ROM. The ROM comes only in two languages: China and English.

The limited languages availability is not the bad thing just yet. The absence of Play Store and other Google Apps (GApps) is the main drawback.

Of course, these could be neglected easily by installing Open Gapps. However, it requires an unlocked bootloader and TWRP custom recovery. These requirements are not easy things for most novice users.

Alternatively, users of Redmi Note 7 Pro China variant can switch to Global India ROM. This still requires an unlocked bootloader since flashing the Fastboot ROM is needed. The liberation of built-in China apps which are considered as bloatware is the additional advantage.

This update is a Global Stable ROM despite being released specifically for India users. Its version code explains everything..

  2. The 2nd and 3rd letters are the code for MIUI device variants. In this case is FH which means Redmi Note 7 Pro.
  3. The 4th and 5th letters represent the type of the build: either Global or China. CN is for China while others are for Global. This build has code IN which means Global (India).
