Xiaomi has once again pushed new minor update to Redmi Note 7 Pro codename Violet. This update has version number 10.2.10.0 and it fixes noises in the speaker.
This updates boasts no new security patch. Hence, Android Security Patch March 2019 release is still sitting beneath the system. The base of the ROM is still Android 9.0 Pie.
As you might already know, Xiaomi makes several branches to its Global build. While previously you could only find China and Global builds, you can now also expect to get Global worldwide (MI), Global India (IN), Global Europe (EU/EEA), and of course Russian.
The one available below is MIUI 10 Global India Stable build.
Don’t get confused with the code. Every release of MIUI has its own release code embedded after its version number.
For instance, the one you are going to download below is version 10.2.10.0.PFHINXM. What does it mean? Let’s find out.
- The first letter (P) represents the Android codename in which the ROM was built from, the Android 9.0 Pie.
- The 2nd and 3rd letters are the code for MIUI device variants. In this case is FH which means Redmi Note 7 Pro codename Violet. The standard version (non-Pro) with codename Lavender has code FG.
- The 4th and 5th letters represent the type of the build: either Global or China. CN is for China while others are for Global. This build has code IN which means Global India.
- The 6th and 7th are just a unique code for the release.
