Pixel Experience 10 for Redmi Note 7 Pro: Download and Install Guide

Pixel Experience 10 for Redmi Note 7 Pro: Download and Install Guide 1

Pixel Experience ROM 10.0 goes official despite Redmi Note 7 Pro receives the Beta version meanwhile. Version 10 is purely based on Android 10.0 Q. It is already available for the original Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL devices officially.

Pixel Experience is an AOSP-based ROM bringing the look and feel of Google Pixel phone series to other Android phones. Luckily, PE ROM is available for most Xiaomi phones including Redmi Note 7 Pro codename Violet.

We posted the older versions of PixelExperience ROM based on both AOSP and CAF codebase. You can check it on the previous post here and here. PE ROM v9.0 is based on Android 9.0 Pie.

While CAF codebase is awesome, we are still wondering why the team behind PE ROM drops update and support for the build, at least that what we noticed for Redmi Note 7 Pro.

Interestingly, there is now available the Plus Edition that sports enhanced key features. We don’t think it’s a trade-off tho.

Anyway, it is exciting to have Android 10 running on Redmi Note 7 Pro. While the official release of MIUI 10 (or maybe the upcoming MIUI 11) based on Android 10 Q is not available yet, we can enjoy Android 10 earlier through custom ROMs.
