Good news! Good news! Good news! The Redmi Note 7 codename Lavender has received its first MIUI 11 Stable ROM. It’s not a Global build tho.

You can download the full ROM update from the link provided at the middle part of this article.

There are several variants of Redmi Note 7 namely the Indian, China, Global/Europe, Redmi Note 7 Pro, and Redmi Note 7S. The MIUI 11 Stable ROM available here is for the one with codename Davinci. You check all list of Xiaomi device codenames here.

Previously, we have shared with you the MIUI 11 Beta ROMs for all supported phones. Redmi Note 7 is in that list. It took only few days for the Beta version to make its way to Stable.

The newly coming MIUI 11 is a major update from Xiaomi to its Android skin. A bunch of awesomeness is coming to MIUI 11 in terms of user interface, performance, and its overall system.

You can enjoy new icons, animations, wallpapers, themes, and of course features.

This first MIUI 11 Stable also comes with the latest September 2019 Security Patch update. You can rest assure on the security aspect of the system. Nowadays, Android malware becomes increasingly popular. Furthermore, the recent discovered zeroday vulnerability is very worrying.

Please remember that the ROM is MIUI China Stable ROM. Hence, you’ll find no single Google App on it. There is no Play Store either.

However, once you flashed TWRP, you can have Google App installed in no time by using either Opengapps, Simple GApps,or BitGApps.

How to Install

There are three options you can choose to flash MIUI 11 on your Redmi Note 7. The MIUI 11 China Stable ROM available above is a Recovery build. It’s a zip file. Hence, you can’t simply flash it through Mi Flash tool if you want to make a switch into.

First Method: Flashing Through Mi Updater

The first method is only applicable for Redmi Note 7 previously running MIUI China Stable ROM. Simply follow this guide if your phone was previously running MIUI 10 China Stable ROM.

Second Method: Using TWRP Recovery

  1. Unlock the bootloader.
  2. Flash TWRP Recovery.
  3. Boot into TWRP recovery.
  4. Wipe > Format Data > yes
  5. Wipe > advanced wipe > select Data, Dalvik, Cache, System, Vendor >> Swipe to wipe.
  6. Connect the phone to the computer using its cable.
  7. Copy the MIUI ROM zip file.
  8. Install > locate the zip file > Swipe to flash.
  9. Flash Magisk (optional if you want root).
  10. Reboot > System.

Third Method: Using Xiaomi Tool

Xiaomi Tool is like a Swish-army knife for Xiaomi phones. It allows you to switch ROM easily with a snap of fingers.

Simply download the tool, install it on your computer with an Internet connection, connect your phone, andpush the magic button.

The Internet connection is crucial since the tool will detect your phone, find the corresponding MIUI 11 ROM, download it, and automatically install it for you.
