These all hand-picked Google Camera / Gcam APK compatible for Redmi Note 10 codename Mojito, the device boasting Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 (11 nm) chipset.
Redmi Note 10 comes running MIUI 12 based on Android 11 R by default. Which is very cool.
Along with the MIUI 12, Mojito also ships with a pro-level built-in camera app to support its quad camera.
Using Redmi Note 10 for mobile photography hobby is really helpful.
Thanks to its 48MP main camera that sports f/1.8 lens aperture, 26mm wide lens, 1/2.0″ image sensor, 0.8µm pixel size, and PDAF or Phase Detection Auto Focus.
To help its users capture more photo variations, the main camera is also supported with three auxiliary cameras:
- Ultrawide camera with 8 MP resolution, f/2.2 aperture, 118˚ wide angle, 1/4.0″ sensor, and 1.12µm pixel size.
- Macro camera with 2 MP resolution and f/2.4 aperture.
- Depth camera 2 MP resolution with f/2.4 aperture for capturing portrait mode with nice bokeh.
At the front, there is a 13 MP selfie camera with f/2.5 aperture, 1/3.06″ camera sensor, and 1.12µm pixel size. The best part, its is a wide angle camera making it super fun to shot group selfies or wefie.
Don’t get us wrong, MIUI stock camera app is features rich and it is more than capable to make the jobs done.
However, there are some users who become addicted to ported Google Camera or Gcam.
For some reasons, Gcam can produce better image quality in terms of color reproducing and dynamic range level.
There is one downside of Gcam though, it is hard to find the best version that works perfectly on our Xiaomi phones.
There are so many versions of Gcam ports made by several developers.
Hence, one version may work in taking great photos but capturing videos may not and vice versa.
Do you have Redmi Note 10 on hands? Below we list all tested Gcam APK files to work properly on Redmi Note 10 with least errors and lagging.
Again, there is no single ported gcam that works perfectly but at least you can enjoy what you need the must like taking photograph.
Download Gcam APK
Gcam by Urnyx05
First, you can try Urnyx05 Gcam v8.1 APK. Click the download link and choose version 8.1 build 1.2.
Redmi Note 10 48MP main camera works well with this version but you may not be able to access the auxiliary cameras. Picture quality is also great with stunning color reproducing.
Gcam by BSG
Second, you can also use BSG Gcam v8.1 APK. Click the download link and choose version 8.1 build A9_GV1j.
Once installed, you can use it to capture photos with all Redmi Note 10 cameras including the ultra wide angle lens.
The 1x, 1.4x, and 1.8x options switch between the lenses simply works well. However, do not try to record time lapse videos on the 1.8x option since it will crash the app.
For better performance, you can download and use a special config file below.
Extract the zip file to obtain the XML file. Copy the .xml file to /sdcard/gcam/Configs8/ on your device storage. Then refer to this illustration on how to install Gcam config file.
Gcam by Greatness
Next, there is also Greatness Gcam v8.2 APK. Click the download link and choose version 8.2 build 204-210627.
This version combined with below config file seems having little issues in video recording.
You can enjoy shooting in Full HD 30/60 fps and 4k resolution.
Wide (main camera, Ultra wide, and Macro lenses seem working fine.
How to Install Gcam APK
Side-loading Google Camera ports is as easy as installing any other APK files.

- Open File Manager then click the APKs icon
- Next, find the Gcam APK file (which is usually residing in Download folder).
- Tap the APK file and choose Install.
- Once installed, please reboot the phone (required!)
Please uninstall any previous Gcam version before installing another one.
How to Install Gcam Config file
Once Gcam is installed, follow these steps to install the config file(s):
- Open up the Gcam app.
- Go to Settings >> Advanced settings >> XML Configs >> Save >> “a” (SAVE). Before saving you need to set permissions by clicking the warning at the top of XML Configs and turn it on.
- Copy the config .xml file (usually named as main.xml) to /sdcard/gcam/Configs8/ folder. You may need to create that folder if doesn’t exist.
- Follow a sequence in this illustration to restore the file.
You may need to extract the zip file if the config file comes as compressed zip like the ones above.
Most of the Gcam ports for Redmi Note 10 have major hiccups on video capability which is bit off while capturing video.
As per what we have tested, Gcam from Greatness works best for capturing photos. However, we prefer to use stock MIUI camera app to capture videos.
