Here is the direct download link to grab a working version of Orangefox Recovery for Xiaomi Mi 9T codename Davinci. The device is also known as Redmi K20 in China and India. This Orange Fox TWRP works as expected although it is an unofficial build.
Xiaomi Mi 9T is one of the company’s phenomenal phone for its specs. It was first known as Redmi K20, the little brother of Redmi’s flagship killer the K20 Pro. In Europe and in some other countries except India, the phone is widely known as Mi 9T.
The phone is super awesome considering specs per price ratio. Just like many other Android phones, it won’t be at its maximal performance if not getting unlocked.
Once unlocked, installing a custom recovery is another beginning step to unleash the beast within. A custom recovery can flash almost any third-party binaries such as tweaks, mods, custom ROMs, and custom kernels. It is also capable of flashing Magisk which is the ultimate tool (and app) to root an Android phone.
Previously, we’ve seen a working TWRP for Mi 9T which is the most popular custom recovery. Sorry, it’s not one but three variant of TWRP recoveries are already available for Mi 9T.
- LR.Team TWRP for Mi 9T / Redmi K20 by Wzsx150.
- 4PDA TWRP for Mi 9T / Redmi K20.
- Unofficial TWRP for Mi 9T / Redmi K20 by Mauronofrio.
There is another variant that sports better user interface (UI) but as powerful as the other TWRP variants. Enter the Orange Fox TWRP!
