Xiaomi has made another breakthrough today. The company is one of among world’s Android OEM manufacturer to release Android 10 update on the same day as Google’s official release.
It is common for both Google and Essential to release Android 10 faster than any other companies. Google is the one developing Android while Essential has only one phone variant to maintain.
On the other hand, Xiaomi has so many phone variants to take care of. The company decided to make Android 10 available for the flagship killer Redmi K20 Pro earlier than company’s other phones.
This is surely great news for the owners of Redmi K20 Pro. Redmi K20 Pro is basically the same identical device as Mi 9T Pro. Both have the same codename, Raphael. However, those released in China and India are called Redmi K20 Pro while any other parts of the world know it as Mi 9T Pro.
The company pushed out first Android 10 Q for the device through several Beta stages. Today, the official MIUI 10 Stable ROM based on Android 10 becomes available.
MIUI is a heavily skinned version on top of the Android ecosystem. It inherits the same key essential features of Android along with additional pieces of awesomeness injected by the developer of MIUI.
