It’s just few days ago when Xiaomi released the Kernel source code of Redmi K20 Pro. Recently, the first ever TWRP recovery has been available for the device.
Redmi K20 Pro is Xiaomi’s latest iteration of Pocophone F1. Some people said the phone was originally Pocophone F2. It is another flagship killer.
The device has codename Raphael. It boasts Qualcomm SDM855 Snapdragon 855 (7 nm) SoC with Octa-core (1×2.84 GHz Kryo 485 & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 485 & 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 485) CPUs, and Adreno 640 GPU.
Specs wise, the phone is at the same level of most flagship Android phones including Xiaomi’s own Mi 9.
Its price per performance ration makes it as the true flagship killer. The fun thing about this so-called “flagship killer” is its advertisement. Xiaomi promotes the device in the same exact location next to OnePlus’ billboards in India.
As a flagship killer, the phone shall be a hype in many countries of Mi Fans home bases such as China, India, Russia, and many South East Asian countries including Indonesia.
We have our own verdict. We believe that Redmi K20 Pro will contribute huge amount of income to Xiaomi’s revenue.
Linearly, there will be a rapid development pace among third-party Android developers.
This hypothesis has been proven recently with the release of first TWRP custom recovery build.
