Have just received your shiny new POCO X3 / NFC? Great! Are you a mobile photography addict? Sweet!

It’s time to take your phone to another level with Google Camera app!

Google Camera in which people usually call it Gcam is an advanced camera app originally released by Google Developers for their Pixel phone series.

Thanks to several third-party developers like Arnova, BSG, Arhur, Burial, cstark, Urnyx05, and many others, now we Xiaomi users can enjoy Gcam on our phones.

However, since the app is not designed for other than Pixel phone from the very beginning, there is no single Gcam port that really works on any phones.

We have to carefully pick a version that may not perfectly work but at least it can play nice with the phone series that we have.

What about Poco X3 NFC?

Of course, released as a mid-range killer, there are always great things about this phone.

One of which is third-party app. Gcam for an instance.

Both Poco X3 (codename Karna) and Poco X3 NFC (codename Surya) have exactly the same features and hardware specifications except the NFC part.

Poco X3 sports Qualcomm SM7150-AC Snapdragon 732G SoC which is a powerful SoC manufactured under 8 nm fabrication.

The device has Octa-core CPUs consisting of 2x 2.3GHz Kryo 470 Gold and 6x 1.8GHz Kryo 470 Silver processors. Combining those with Adreno 618 GPU makes Poco X3 NFC as a powerful beast to take on almost every game in the Play Store.

In the photography and videography world, the horsepower under the hood is an essential factor to process images and videos.

The device also boasts quadcore camera with following configuration:

  • Main camera: 64 MP, f/1.9, (wide), 1/1.73″, 0.8µm, PDAF
  • Secondary: 13 MP, f/2.2, 119˚ (ultrawide camera), 1.0µm
  • Third camera: 2 MP, f/2.4, (macro lens)
  • Bokeh camera: 2 MP, f/2.4, (depth sensor)

The best part, the device has gyro-EIS and is capable of recording 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/120fps, 720p@960fps videos. The last one is a super slowmo video.
