Here is the mirror download link to the first available custom recovery for Poco M3 codename Citrus. By what we said the first, it translates to “Unofficial” version.
An XDA member known as TheMalachite has managed to build unofficial TWRP for Poco M3. As what he mentioned on his post, everything seems work except one: data decryption after a second reboot is still broken.
Team Win Recovery Project is most popular custom recovery used by millions people world wide.
It doesn’t have any rival despite there are several forks and mods readily available made from the base code of TWRP.
By installing a custom recovery, it’ll replace the official one coming from the phone manufacturer which in this case is stock Mi Recovery.
Once installed, users can flash any third-party binaries or aftermarket ROM through TWRP including gaining root access.
You can download TWRP for Poco M3 by clicking the below buttons. The files are hosted on our server and are provided as mirror direct link.
Please bear in mind, this is an unofficial build.

Follow these steps:

Second, download both TWRP and vbmeta image files (img) and place it inside platform-tools folder.
Third, type cmd in the address bar of Windows Explorer then hit Enter. You can also press the Shift button and right-clicking anywhere then choose Open PowerShell Window here. The earlier is the easier.

adb reboot bootloader
fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta-citrus.img
fastboot flash recovery TWRP-3.5.0-citrus-060121-R1.img
Finally, reboot into TWRP using this:
fastboot boot TWRP-3.5.0-citrus-060121-R1.img
