Are you afraid of the arduous tasks on flashing a custom ROM? Read this complete guide on how to install Pixel Experience 9.0 Pie on Xiaomi Poco F1 codename Beryllium. This trick works on both CAF and AOSP builds of the ROM.
Pixel Experience is one of popular custom Android ROMs coming next after LineageOS 16 (LOS16). Unlike LOS, Pixel Experience comes with essential Google Apps built in. Hence, you no longer need to flash OpenGApps separately.
Just like its name, this custom ROM brings all the goodies and awesomeness of Google Pixel device to your Xiaomi device or in this case is a non-Pixel device. This ROM transforms your Pocophone F1 to resemble Pixel 3 Android 9.0 Pie.
Xiaomi Poco F1 is a flagship killer that boasts the same chipset, processors, and GPU as what in Xiaomi Mi 8. The Qualcomm Snapdrgon 845 SoC under the hood is as capable as what Mi 8 has it. Even better, the maximum power of its SoC can be unleashed by doing a simple overclock. Therefore, it’s not far behind the Pixel 3 in terms of performance.
Pixel Experience sports almost all the essential goodies of the Android system running on Google Pixel. It brings the bootanimation, wallpaper, icons, fonts, and even the Pixel Launcher. The design of its User Interface (UI) is also similar.
In short, this ROM not only brings the awesomeness but also brings the whole experience of Pixel to Poco F1. It is a must have ROM and that what makes it so popular.
Before we begin, we have to remind you about the risks of flashing.
Flashing a custom Android ROM will wipe partial/full data from your phone and it will replace the stock MIUI ROM. Doing this means you make a switch from one ROM to another ROM. It’s like switching the OS itself.
We hold no responsibilities of any risks ad damages that may happen to your device. You decided to proceed and hence proceed responsibly.
Please make a full and a proper backup of your phones. Back up the most important data and files. Messages, Contacts, Apps, Music, Videos, and Document files are some parts that you may want to prioritize.
Please read the whole article thoroughly and understand all the steps before you actually implement it. Proceed only once you have a clear understanding.
