Xiaomi will soon launch, at least, three new phone variants in the Q1 this year. Some of them have already made their way in China. As usual, the success of new releases will also make their way to the global market.
The talked phones are Redmi K30 Pro, Mi 10 (and Mi 10 Pro), and Redmi Note 9. The earliest is the most awaited device thanks to K30 Pro’s success last year.
Redmi K30 Pro
Rumours say K30 Pro to come at the end of March this year.
This phone is Redmi’s flagship variant that tops all other smartphones released under Redmi umbrella, a sub-brand of Xiaomi.
A leak says it to have a real full-screen display.
Specs-wise, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 sits under the hood to give the device with enough horsepower.
What so cool about its screen display is the Refresh Rate.
Redmi K30 Pro can automatically adjust its refresh rate from 120Hz, 90Hz, to 60Hz; depending on which task you use the phone for (gaming, surfing, watching videos, streaming, and so on).
The phone also comes running MIUI 11 based on Android 10 as default OS.
The chipset employs an Octa-core 2.84 GHz processor that consists of 1x Kryo 585 2.42 GHz, 3x Kryo 585 1.8 GHz, and 4x Kryo 585 CPUs.
Thanks to the chipset as well, there will be only the 5G variant of K30 Pro.
Redmi Note 9
Redmi Note series is the beast that drives huge sales to Xiaomi. Thanks to its best value-for-money principal. Redmi Note 3 is the first device within this family that was capable of gaining traction to Mi Fans root. The fanaticism started at that time.
Redmi Note 9 is just another successor for the family.
The phone is also scheduled to be available worldwide starting this month. A hint suggests that Redmi Note 9 will have beast performance as well as cameras.
A poster has gone virals to many tech talks citing its release tagline: #ProCamerasMaxPerformance.
The poster also mentions clearly the exact release date which is March 12nd, 2020. Apparently, India is the first country outside China where the device to come – says RedmiIndia in its twitter post.
Rumours also suggest the coming of Redmi Note 9 Pro.
There is no exact specs sheet just yet but the hype suggests a mind-blowing performance over a decent price tag.
Interestingly, a leaked Geekbench score hinted the performance of upcoming Redmi Note 9 Pro.
While the leaks did not reveal full specifications of the phone, we did learn something.
First, it most likely has codename Curtana, based on its motherboard name.
Second, it comes with MIUI 11 based on Android 10.0 Q by default.
Third, it may have several variants but one will surely have 6G RAM.
Both Redmi Note 9 and 9 Pro will have a quad-camera setup. There is no specific detail about the camera sensors and its technical specifications just yet, unfortunately.
Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro
Unlike the earlier two, Mi 10 is the highest level of flagship phone of Xiaomi.
It’s the ultimate phone to boast the best specifications topping any other phones in all Xiaomi Mi, Redmi, and Redmi Note variants. It’s the next successor of Mi 9.
The phone was announced last month by Lei Jun, the CEO.
Both the vanilla and pro variants come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. Obviously, it already supports 5G and Wifi6 networkings.
A set of highest standard specs come in Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro: DCI-P3, HDR10+, 90Hz, 180Hz touch-sensing, 500 nits type brightness, Super AMOLED screen, and many others.
The Snapdragon 865 sports Octa-core CPU that consists of 1x 2.84GHz Kryo 585, 3x 2.42GHz Kryo 585, and 4x 1.80GHz Kryo 585 processors. Find more of its specs here.
Both series appear in Global Mi Community readying for its global release.
Interestingly, the Pro variant scored the highest level of DXOMARK Audio and Camera tests. Impressive!
The notorious Coronavirus outbreak in China cancelled Mi 10’s global announcement scheduled at MWC2020.
While the global release date was delayed, a post at Mi Community hints a new product launch set for March 27th, 2020. Most likely it will be Xiaomi Mi 10.
What do you expect to be available soon in your country? Redmi Note 9? Mi 10? or Redmi K30 Pro?
