Team Win Recovery Project, which is called as TWRP, is the world’s most popular custom recovery available for many Android devices. Xiaomi phones are also part of the company’s regular devices to support.
TWRP is well known because of its easy-to-use interface. TWRP is known for the first custom recovery coming with touch-screen support.
Rather than incorporating button combination like the official MIUI recovery does, TWRP offers bold feature with full touch-screen display support. You can simply use its interface just like using your phone.
Furthermore, TWRP also offers state-of-the-art features such as full Nandroid backup, IMG and ZIP flashing, full and advanced wipe, and so on.
Its feature-rich functionality makes it as world’s best recovery ever.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is not invincible to the charming TWRP. Being one of Xiaomi’s flagship devices along with Mi 9, Mi Mix 3 offers not only high-end hardware with cutting-edge features but also stylish yet elegant body design.
Mi Mix 3 has premium and modern phone design making it worth bearing the “flagship” name on its shoulder.
In short, Mi Mix 3 is not only a flagship monster device but also an elegant premium phone ever made by Xiaomi.
Nevertheless, its charming quality doesn’t make it exclusive to third-party Android development communities. Enthusiasts and flashing maniacs have a great interest in the device.
Luckily, Xiaomi is also popular for its friendliness to the Android development communities. All Redmi, Redmi Note, and Mi families come with an unlockable bootloader despite the fact of the weeks waiting period.
Anyhow, TWRP custom recovery is the key and the door to the open possibilities to tweak Mi Mix 3 and to bring it to a higher level.
Flashing TWRP allows you to root your phone, to replace MIUI with any custom ROMs, to install a custom kernel, to install third-party apps, and so on.
The coming of forked TWRP builds becomes proof of its own popularity.
Apart from the official TWRP build, there are also some other unofficial builds. Mi Mix 3 also has several TWRP builds you can try. Grab them from the below links.

Wzsx150’s TWRP is also known as China TWRP. This nickname is not without a reason. Once installed, its default language is set to Chinese. It is as powerful as any other TWRP. Luckily, you can easily change its default language to English by following this guide.
