In the pursuant of speed, Xiaomi’s developer teams keep working hard to make MIUI system perfect. For that purpose, the developers have released its “test” version.
Currently, this news makes all enthusiast Mi fans over the moon. It means any users of MIUI devices can experience the goodness of the app drawer feature even before the official release of MIUI 11.
MIUI developers can also take advantage of this “test” version. They can have feedback from testers to find out which works and which don’t.
Such data is beneficial to improve the overall performance of the app drawer that should be shipped within MIUI 11.
There is a catch though, users may expect some bugs. This is normal on any Alpha or Beta versions of any apps released by any developers.

The app is not available in the Play Store just yet (at the time of writing). It is still in the Alpha testing stage. Alpha means much closer to stable release rather than a Beta release means.
There are some requirements to use this MIUI Launcher app.
First, it must be an MIUI device. We say it right. Even if your phone is a Xiaomi device but is not running MIUI, you may not be able to enjoy its full awesomeness.
It means you cannot install it on Xiaomi Mi A1, Mi A2, or Mi A2 Lite since those devices run Android One – instead of MIUI.
Second, the app currently targets Android API level 26 (Android 8.0 Oreo) and has minimal requirement for API level 21 (Android 5.0 Lollipop).

How to install? Installing Mi Launcher app is similar to installing any other APK files. You may need to allow installation from unknown sources in your phone settings.
Once installed, you can enjoy the app drawer on MIUI 10.
The MIUI Launcher app makes it easier to access the drop-down list of all installed apps. It can also intuitively frees up space in the dock area.
On top of that, users can easily slide from the dock. The app’s new gesture feature allows users to slide up from any area of the main screen. This will open up the app drawer in MIUI.

These recent apps icons can easily be moved vertically as well ass horizontally.
Despite the app targets Android 8.0 Oreo, you can also use it on MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie. It means that you can use it on devices like Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Note 5, Redmi K20 Pro, etc.
