This tiny sized article shows you the necessary steps on how to enable app drawer on MIUI 11 phones. Not until MIUI 11, the default Launcher in the home screen does not ship with an app drawer. All installed apps are visible directly on the home screen pages.
The coming of MIUI 11 is a game-changer. Xiaomi’s skinned version of Android operating system now comes with an enhanced Launcher. It now ships with an app drawer which is not activated by default.
In a nutshell, an Android app drawer is a section on your phone that houses all the installed apps. Think of it as the Menu section on a Windows computer. Homescreen, on the other hand, is like the Desktop section of a Windows computer.
Previously, all icons of installed apps are placed on the homescreen which bloats the looks and feels of your homescreen. Once the app drawer is activated on MIUI 11, you can tidy up the homescreen area containing only icons of frequently used apps while saving all other icons (read: shortcuts) in the app drawer.
