A quick jump:

About BiTGApps

BiTGApps is a project by a developer known as TheHitMan7. The main purpose of this project is providing a custom GApps package that is optimized, manually tweaked, and perfectly balanced.

BiTGApps comes in one flavor only, the minimal. You’ll get the most essential apps of GApps within the package, not bloated and even optimized. Simplicity but straight to the point is what BitGApps all about.

BitGapps supports custom features such as Battery Optimization for the GMS Core and its components. The APK files of all included Google Apps have bee optimized with the Zipalign tool. Moreover, it also makes use of the SQLite tool to optimize the application database.

BiTGApps is a universal Android package. It should be compatible with any Android devices as long as it is flashed right.

BitGapps is a single zip package that needs to be flashed through TWRP recovery. Hence, you’ll need to unlock the phone bootloader beforehand.

BitGapps is available in two variants: one for ARM architecture and another for the ARM64 architecture. Most recent Android phones, especially those in mid-range and flagship levels, are mostly ARM64 devices.

You need to download the proper package for your Android phone system architecture and Android OS. Otherwise, it may not be compatible.

Is BitGApps compatible with Xiaomi and Redmi phones? Obviously. You can make use of Bitgapps to have Play Store and some other Google apps installed on your Xiaomi Mi, Redmi, or Redmi Note phones running MIUI China Stable or Beta build.
